The Havdalah set is used at the ceremony which comes weekly at the end of Shabbat and after certain holy days to close them and open a new week, certain prayers are recited with each item. Some aspects of this contemporary Havdalah set are – stylish cutout words in Hebrew, contrasting blue spice box and candle holder and, flowing curved lines. The candle holder features the Hebrew words 'Bore Meorey Haesh' meaning 'He who created the light of the fire', the tray says 'Hamavdil' meaning 'The blessing of Havdalah' with a flower pattern and the spice box has the words 'Bore Minei Besamim' meaning 'He who created the sweet-smelling spices'.
