Ofek Wertman
An artist, designer and animator, Ofek Wertman is a second generation of artists. Ofek combines a contemporary pop-art style and ancient Jewish traditions and symbols into modern Jewish gifts and Israeli art. His art work and Judaica gifts are available at exclusive museum shops, including the most famous Israeli musuems; Tel Aviv musuem gift shop, Erets Israel musuem gift shop and the Israel musuem in Jerusalem.
Wertman draws his inspiration from other Jewish artists, such as Nachum Gutman and Reuven Rubin, painters that turned to Israel's nature and landscape, creating their art with the famous landmarks as their insipration. Ofek translates their art into modern Judaica, Jewish souvenirs, Jewish kitchen supplies and home decor pieces for the Jewish home. In addition, his work displays his creativity and talent, putting together pop-art, colors and images of Jewish icons and leaders, Herzl, Ben Gurion and the famous Ahava symbol.
Ofek Wertman’s unique style comes from his experience as an animator and designer creating video art and original products, while translating his childhood landscape into creative products, wall clocks, coasters, and office products.
