This modern take on the Hannukah dreidel is designed by Adi Sidler. Four Hebrew letters: Nun, Gimmel, Hey and Pay have been laser cut from the spiral form of this dreidel. The letters represent “Nes Gadol Haya Po” which translates to “A great miracle happened here” in English. Made of anodized aluminum, the silver color will not scratch or chip. The stem is silver in color and topped with blue dot and comes with a square base.
Israeli born artist, Adi Sidler graduated with honors from the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem where he received several scholarships and honors in metalwork and object design. Adi’s focus, after finishing his studies, was on making products for the home and office. He has since emerged as one of Israel’s sought after Judaica artists. His works are mainly characterized by their clean cut, minimal lines and polished look which are made with state-of-the-art industrial production methods like laser cutting and metal chip processing. Using anodized aluminum in many of his creations, he also mixes other materials such as Lucite, wood, paper, rubber and more.
